I like to call Group G the underachiever group. Sure as the sun rises in the east, Belgium and England fall short at international tournaments. Despite that, Belgium and England will be the teams that come out of this group.
First team to talk about is Belgium. From Man United striker Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea stars Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois, Man City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, and Tottenham stars Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld in defense, Belgium boast world class talent up and down the pitch. They are the healthy favorites to win this group.
England also has no shortage of talent. Strikers Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy will make sure England has no shortage of goal scoring. Eric Dier and Jordan Henderson will provide solid play in midfield while Man City teammates John Stones and Kyle Walker will anchor a solid defense.
Panama and Tunisia simply do not have the talent to hang with Belgium and England. I have Belgium and England advancing with Belgium winning the group.
