The Earth may or may not be flat according to Kyrie Irving, but he did put to rest any rumors of him leaving Boston. This announcement halted the constant bombardment of rumors that Kyrie is planning on jumping ship to join a promising Knicks team. This could not have come at a better time for the Celtics. With Kyrie committed, Danny Ainge can now look towards bolstering the roster even further next offseason, rather than finding a new starting point guard.
