The Chicago Blackhawks have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NHL this year. Now I know the Hawks have been playing without some crucial players such as Corey Crawford (since December) and Marian Hossa (full season) however, I did not anticipate them to be this bad. The Hawks currently sit last in the Central division (yup, you read that right) and have gone (2-7-1) in their last ten, losing their last eight in a row. In their last eight games the Hawks have allowed 32 goals and have only put up 14 (yikes) resulting in a whopping -18 goal differential. Chicago currently sits 12 points out of a playoff spot, even in games and it looks like their season is coming to a close. The Hawks do not look like the team we are use to seeing and I don't believe they have the depth to climb back into a playoff spot this year. Kane, Toews, Keith, and Seabrook are only getting older and the future of the team is not looking bright. In my opinion, it is time to rebuild.
