How dangerous is this offense going to be?
Last year was not a fluke. Case Keenum had a career year unlike any of his other seasons. Kirk Cousins should be able to keep the offense flowing in the same style, but the most dangerous part of this offense that is being overlooked is Dalvin Cook. The rookie was outrunning or running over defenses until he tore his ACL week 4 against the Lions.
I always say championship teams have great defenses and hard running ground games. The Vikings have a talented roster throughout. Just because Rodgers is back does not make it his division.
Is Darius Slay a top 3 corner in the NFL?
I have followed Darius Slay since the 2013 NFL combine. Even a clueless Skip Bayless type mind could have assumed he would be an elite corner in the league. The new age of elite corners has now appeared in the NFL. As Jalen Ramsey and Casey Hayward fight for the number one spot in the league, people cannot forget about the lockdown corner from Detroit who had a tremendous season and will continue to prove his worth in 2018.
Green Bay Packers
Do the Packers have the defense to finally support a deep playoff run?
Here’s what I don’t understand about the Packers. The Packers can grab a bunch of fans from the stands of Lambeau and Aaron Rodgers will make them look elite. So why not focus on building the offensive line and an elite defense to complete the puzzle? The Saints had the same problem and finally figured it out. After having historically bad defenses over the years, they were able to add key defensive players in 2017 and make a run far in the playoffs. If the Packers can have a defense that is just barely above average. They are automatically one of the scariest teams in the NFC. That is unless they are plagued with injuries for yet another season.
Are Mitch Trubisky and the Bears ready to make a run for the division title?
The Bears have been the afterthought in this division for a while now, but don’t let that distract you from the talent they have on this team coming into this season. The Bears added WR, Allen Robinson. Robinson tore his ACL on his first catch of the first game of the 2017 season, but I am still certain he is a top receiver that has been overlooked in this league. Mitch Trubisky and Bears fans will be falling in love with him pretty soon when this season starts because of his ability to go up and get the ball. He can climb the ladder against any defender and will be a challenge for any opposing cornerback.
The Bears also drafted a BEAST on the defensive side of the ball in Roquan Smith. Watching the tape from this linebacker out of Georgia, he is involved in almost every single play. This could be the beginning of an elite Bears team.
